Medicine is injected into the eyeball to treat certain Adult Retina conditions (for example Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal Vein Occlusion and Retinal Swelling after operation) and Paediatric Retinal conditions (for example Retinopathy of Prematurity and Coats’ Disease).
The medicine used and number of injections vary, as Dr Loh aims to work with the patient to adopt the most cost effective method to stabilise, maintain or improve the patient’s condition and/or vision.
